1Gbps to the ISP is fine and good, but does the Philippines even have the bandwidth/submarine cables to the rest of the Internet for widespread rollout of 1Gbps? Sounds like a marketing ploy to me.

Copy paste pa more! Di man lang nag-spin and source @_@

Sounds like Vernicious skepticism to me

Hahaha they are offering this because telstra and san Miguel corp. Will offer a much faster and a much affordable packages. Im getting a lot of new offers just to extend my contact, hahahaha no thank you I'll wait for the telstra it will be worth waiting hahaha

ganon...akala nyo ha...5mbps ako bakit 1.50 mbps lng sa speed ko..paghindi maka bayad nang 1 month disconnect agad...galingan nyo naman yon connection nyo...

inyu na yan mga hunghang
wala visayas and mindanao area particularly Cebu and Davao
selfish greedy fat people

Hahaha sabi na eh yung featured image palang na nakita ko as fb alam na kung kanino

Yep. Dyan pumapasok yung "Up to" or "Maximum Speed" na kalokohan dyan sa pinas.

hahaha RIP globe lipat na lahat ng subscribers nyo sa telstra. your product and service sucks big time. well not only globe but PLDT as well. 100mbps for 2k lng offer ng telstra why should i bite your inferior offer?

Are you fucking kidding me? It was said that my speed was 2mbps.. but.. I get 300+kbps download and 90-120kbps upload.. Ya'll can't even fix 2mbps speed.. 50mbps? 1gbps? Ahahahaha! I doubt it!

fyi. 300+kpbs = 2mbps bandwidth. but yeah, ISP here in PH sucks a lot.

Because most Bisayans and Mindanaoans can't probably afford those prices. Return on investment would take decades.

What about wireless broadband users? Maraming mga subscribers diyan lalo na sa mga province pero di na yata nila iimprove yung speed ng lowest plan while keeping it slow and often disconnects every hour.

naaaaahhh ill still go with telstra.... they have a min. 8mbps rule in aussie... if it goes lower than that then you could sue them... i prefer 100mbps max/8mbps min than 200mbps max/less than 1mbps min... let's wait for telstra phil. isntead guys konting tiis nalang ^_^

wow ang tinde pala nila >_<

Well Telstra is offering 100mbps. They must have a plan somewhere. But honestly in terms of bandwidth economic valur, Telstra is still taking the cake. Unless globe starts offering 50mbps for 1k I doubt she can win against Telstra. Remember, the Philippines is used to 2k or 1k net monthly plans. Take that and you take a portion of the market share.

I wouldn't doubt it if Sky starts moving as well.

There is a huge difference between a bit (b) and a byte (B). 2Mbps (megabit) is approximately equal to 200-300KBps (Kilobyte)
